Happy Independence Day! Meet our national emblem -- a Bald Eagle -- and more birds of prey face-to-face when wildlife educators from Hawk Creek Wildlife Center visit Central Park for a special live bird show.

 

MEMBERS: Enjoy a semi-private photo opportunity with the birds and rehabilitators after the program (bring your own camera). Space is limited; online pre-registration required. REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL. Not yet a member of the Conservancy? Become a member and participate in year-round Member Programs like this one.

 

This program is FREE. All ages are welcome. In case of inclement weather, program will take place indoors at the North Meadow Recreation Center (located mid-Park at 97th Street). For day-of weather-related changes and accessibility information, call 212-348-4867.

 

The Central Park Conservancy's "A Clearing in the Forest" series combines eco-education and multicultural family fun at interactive dance, music, art, storytelling, wildlife, and puppetry performances on alternating Sunday afternoons from April 24 - October 9, 2011.
