Okamoto Studio, Ice Festival 2011

Join us for a glacial ice adventure! Sip on hot chocolate from City Bakery while watching Okamoto Studio carve Belvedere Castle and its surrounding landscape out of ice. Learn about the geologic history of Central Park with Sidney Horenstein, expert geologist from the Museum of Natural History. Take tours with Central Park Conservancy Volunteer Tour Guides and learn first-hand how ice shaped the Park’s geologic features.
